Fileless Sharded Data Environment (FSDE)
FSDE is the proprietary distributed data architecture underlying all Xortex Systems products. It redefines what it means to store a file.
How FSDE works
Before any data reaches a storage node, FSDE encrypts it with AES-256-GCM and splits it into mathematically interdependent fragments distributed across eight independent nodes. No individual node — and no individual server, including ours — holds enough information to reconstruct the original file. A complete file exists only in memory, only during an authorized session, and dissolves the moment that session ends.
This is not a policy promise. The server is architecturally incapable of reconstruction. That is the core claim no incumbent in this space makes honestly.
Every file is AES-256-GCM encrypted client-side before any network transmission occurs. The server never receives plaintext.
Ciphertext is sharded into eight fragments with XOR-based cross-parity. No shard is individually meaningful or reconstructable alone.
A complete file surfaces only during an authenticated, authorized session — then ceases to exist the moment the session closes.
